Event Description: The thing our society is most in need of is a restoration of integrity. This groundbreaking workshop trains you to facilitate Integrity Makeovers in yourself and your clients through upgrading seven core life skills required for successful personal, relationship, leadership and integrity development.

Presenter: David Gruder, Ph.D., D.CEP, is a licensed psychologist, integrity enhancement expert, founder of IntegrityPledge.org and ACEP’s Founding President. His latest books include “The New IQ: How Integrity Intelligence Serves You, Your Relationships and Our World” and “The New IQ Integrity Makeover Workbook.” For 30+ years, he has provided cutting-edge mentoring, consulting, speaking and training in personal, relationship, leadership and integrity development for the public, leaders and helping professionals worldwide. The secret behind his international acclaim is his blend of training design expertise, ability to convert complex concepts into practical tools, extensive clinical experience and disarmingly self-revealing anecdotes.

Overview: Restoring integrity may be the hidden key to solving all of the many seemingly separate problems we face as individuals, in our relationships and at all levels of society. The key to restoring integrity is converting this word from a vague, abstract, philosophical concept into a clear, concrete, actionable way of living. The key to doing this is understanding integrity from the perspective of our three core drives for authenticity, connection and impact. The key to living in integrity with our three core drives is outgrowing our old automated survival modes and upgrading seven key life skills that Natural Developers intuitively develop, referred to in this workshop as our seven WisePassions.

Seven WisePassions Summary:

  1. Teachability: Willingness to discover in unexpected, unasked-for and undesired experiences, pearls of great value about personal authenticity, connection with others and serving highest good. Willingness to learn things you did not know about the part you play -- and don't play -- in various life situations, through opening to ways understanding that stretch beyond the assumptions you make and the beliefs you hold
  2. Self-Care: Maintaining the abundance of life energy and wellbeing needed for living in integrity you’re your three core drives (authenticity, connection and service).
  3. Discernment: The ability to recognize useful input from sources wiser than the Rules your Inner Critic tries to enforce as part of implementing your Survival and Redemption Plans.
  4. Harvesting: The ability to properly digest every life experience so you can gather deep gifts from it no matter how unexpected, unasked-for, unacceptable, traumatic or outside-the-box the experience might be. Harvesting restores to you the gifts you hid or distorted for the sake of survival and purifies your ability to use all of your gifts in healthy ways.
  5. Power: Expressing your inner light, strengths, gifts, deepest truths, passion and creativity without holding back and yet while remaining true to your boundaries. Achieving your intentions without compromising your integrity or life mission. Power is the heart of personal authenticity.
  6. Synergy: Co-creating relationships of all kinds that are collaboration-based, mutually fulfilling, productive and resilient. Synchronizing intentions, strengths, differences and boundaries to create better results than is possible for one individual or group. The key to effective problem-solving, negotiations and conflict resolution and the wise alternative to coercion, capitulation and compromise. Synergy is the heart of relationship integrity.
  7. Stewardship: Co-discovering and serving collective highest good of the larger systems in which you live, through synergizing with others as your truest self. Stewardship is the heart of societal/collective integrity.

Even though most people don’t know that integrity and fulfillment are inseparable, once they understand their three core drives (authenticity, connection and impact) this connection becomes readily apparent. The more people who upgrade their 3D Integrity, the more quickly our society can reach the integrity restoration ‘tipping point’ we so urgently need to reach today. Doing this may well be the key to attaining the personal authenticity, relationship satisfaction and ability to have a positive impact in the world that enables people to feel fulfilled in life.

Building on decades of innovation in the personal healing, relationship intelligence and leadership training fields, a clear road map now exists to help clients succeed. This workshop trains psychotherapists and certified coaches in that road map. It provides helping professionals with a structured psychoeducational curriculum for helping their clients outgrow old patterns interfering with successful personal, relationship, leadership and integrity development and for upgrading the seven core life skills described that seem to be the basic building blocks of personal, relationship, leadership and integrity development.

Abstract

Helping professionals are faced with the need to address three significant issues today. First, even though it is self-obvious that we live in an era in which lack of integrity has reached pandemic proportions, psychotherapy does not tend to deal directly with this problem. Second, the fields of personal, relationship and leadership developed have pursued separate rather than integrated courses. This is highly inefficient. Third, the age of “managed care” has seen a drastic reduction in the number of allowed therapy sessions. This necessitates discovering the extent to which psychoeducational programs can help clients maximize their benefits despite fewer psychotherapy sessions. Over two decades of clinical observations of what natural developers intuitively do to succeed indicates that there may be seven core life skills common to personal, relationship, leadership and integrity development, and that psychoeducation programs designed to upgrade these skills may enable psychotherapy clients to get better results in less time. This program trains helping professionals in a psychoeducational system helping deliberate developers do on purpose what natural developers do intuitively in order to effectively address all three of these concerns in a practical and integrated way.
